The Combat Soldiers Recovery Fund focuses its efforts on recovering
servicemen and women at military hospitals in the Washington, DC area –
Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland and
Fort Belvoir Community Hospital in Fort Belvoir, Virginia.
The Fund has distributed almost $700,000 to 1,200 combat soldiers to date – first in
increments of $100 and now a soldier with an immediate need receives a check
for $300. Some use the money to fly loved ones in while they're recovering
and others for car repairs or a few nights out with their family. Whatever support
the check provides, it brings immediate relief to soldiers who have suffered such
severe wounds that they return not to the warmth of family and friends, but to a
hospital room far from home.
As severely wounded soldiers recover enough to leave the hospital, others
immediately take their place. We hope that you can respond in a small or large
way to help us continue our mission. Thanks to volunteer efforts and special
contributions, you can be sure that 100% of your donation goes to recovering
soldiers.
A Not-For-Profit Organization – The Combat Soldiers Recovery Fund has
501(c)(3) tax-exempt status. All contributions are tax deductible.
